A. build mATX rig
don't need to be high end i7 mATX lah, that one like tearing a new a-hole from my wallet & myself. Midrange can d, since i'm running a 20" 1680x1050 Dell 2007WFP nia.
potential target: Phenom II x3 720 with a 780g matx mobo (AM3+790gx+DDR3 kinda pricey), besides DDR3 on Phenoms can only go up to 1333MHZ; lack luster sia...
B. get ATX sys... Core i5 liekly
well it's comin in the near future, integrated graphics controller sounds very tasty (mmmm... yummies). BUT THEN AGAIN HORR... Westmere is oso around the corner...

ATI HD 4770 seems like a good choice for 20" display, since it's on par with HD 4850...
wat? u say why no NVIDIA?
IMHO they're f-kin pricey, GTX260 pricing can pancung kepalas d...
while GTS 250 is NVIDIA's recycling/rebranding 9800 GTX+...
besides ATI 4770 is on par & cheaper
